A Bit of Cat

I'm Cat, a playwright, actor, and theatre maker based in Milwaukee, WI! I grew up in rural Northwest Indiana in a tiny town called Roselawn. After high school, I moved to Milwaukee to study theatre at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. At UWM I fell in love with the city and deeper in love with performing.

When I was little, I first dreamed of being a ballerina. As I grew older, I developed a love for singing from the church choir, to class, to along with the rock bands in the car. For me, it was a natural step from ballet, to music, to theatre. And when I finally took the leap to audition for Fiddler on the Roof in high school, I found my calling in life. Now I continue to perform and write shows!

I'm incredibly thankful for all the opportunites and meaningful connections the theatre community has given me. And for the support of my friends and family who have always had my back. I can't wait to see where my path takes me, and to share that journey with others. I hope you follow along!

Outside of theatre, I love to crochet, paint, research, go to rock concerts, and spend time with friends and family!
